Meet the Founder
Originally from Greece, the founder of The ClearSense built his career on a passion for environmental responsibility, exceptional customer service, and making a meaningful difference within local communities.

With over 8 years of experience in the environmental and house clearance industry, he established a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and delivering outstanding results. Despite enjoying a successful career with another leading environmental company, he chose to leave the security of an established business to pursue a bigger vision.

In January 2026, that vision became The ClearSense.

Built on the belief that "a clear space is the foundation for a clear mind and a more purposeful life," The ClearSense was created to offer more than traditional house clearance services. From day one, the mission has been to help people move forward—whether clearing a family home, supporting bereaved families, preparing properties for sale, or transforming cluttered spaces into places people can enjoy again.

Operating across South Wales and the West of England, The ClearSense has quickly earned a reputation for reliability, compassion, and excellence. The company's commitment to exceptional customer service and responsible environmental practices was recognised when it was proudly named Best New Company of the Year 2026/27 by the Prestige Awards.

His philosophy is simple: every clearance should have a purpose.

Rather than sending unwanted items directly to landfill, The ClearSense prioritises donating reusable furniture and household goods to charities and local community organisations, recycling wherever possible, and repurposing items to give them a second life. This environmentally responsible approach not only reduces waste but also supports individuals and families who can benefit from these donated items.

Under his leadership, The ClearSense has become known for three core values:

-
Respect for People – delivering honest advice, exceptional customer service, and treating every client with dignity and care.
-
Respect for Property – handling every home and business as if it were his own.
-
Respect for the Environment – minimising landfill through responsible recycling, donation, and sustainable disposal.
Today, his ambition extends far beyond running a successful house clearance company. His goal is to build a business that positively impacts communities, protects the environment, and leaves every customer with more than just an empty space—but with peace of mind and a fresh start.

"At The ClearSense, we don't simply remove unwanted items, we create space for new beginnings."

If you are an individual or company dealing with a property as part of probate, we can completely clear a house following bereavement, so that it is then ready for auction or decoration.

Whilst, unfortunately, many people will think that anyone can start a rubbish removal service there is a difference between a company providing a professional house clearing service and a man with a van purporting to do the same. It is important that anyone operating a house clearance business has a waste carriers license and that they have a track record of managing deceased estates and have appropriate connections with charity shops and auction houses.
To give examples of the different types of services our experienced teams have carried out over the years Some of our domestic clearance services will include areas such as:

Garage Clearance:
Our garage waste removal service will include many of the usual items found in a house but often it will be used for hiding garden waste and garden rubbish too which can include excess building materials left over from a DIY project.

Flat Clearance:
Yes, our flat clearance team have covered a few flights over the years, including removing unwanted furniture and bulky items such as washing machines.

Attic Clearance:
We have crawled up many a dark loft to clear out everything to then discover a number of saleable items and even some highly valuable items on occasion.

Landlord Clearance Services:
This can include a wide range or removal and dismantling activities such as kitchen units and other storage units calling in for some heavy lifting.
Even though we are house clearance experts, we can provide an affordable house clearance service which equals happy customers! Be sure to get in touch for a free, no-obligation quote.
